Terms

These terms apply to the Waterbear consumer service operated by Water Bear Strategy Oy, Finland. Waterbear is a private AI agent service for everyday assistance, writing, planning, learning, organizing information and similar personal use.

Plain English: your first Waterbear includes a free first month. Additional Waterbears require payment before they are created. The service is still being built, so do not use AI output as the only basis for important decisions.

2. Service

Waterbear provides private AI agents, known as Waterbears. A user may have multiple Waterbears. In the consumer architecture, one user runtime may host multiple agent workspaces. Telegram may be connected as an optional channel, but the main account and billing flow is handled through the Waterbear web app.

3. Trial and pricing

The first Waterbear for a user includes one free first month. This free trial applies only to the first Waterbear. Additional Waterbears require payment before they are created.

The Basic plan is 10 EUR/month. Gold is 15 EUR/month and Platinum is 25 EUR/month. Plan content, included usage and pricing may change with prior notice.

4. Fair use

Plans include reasonable personal use. Waterbear may limit, pause or require a plan upgrade if usage is unusually heavy, automated, abusive, infrastructure-intensive or outside normal personal use.

5. Cancellation and non-payment

You can cancel a paid subscription. If payment fails, the affected Waterbear may be paused after a grace period. When a Waterbear is cancelled or deleted, the user should be offered a temporary export link before data is removed.

6. User responsibility

AI output can be incomplete, wrong, outdated or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for checking outputs and deciding how to use them. Do not rely on Waterbear as the only source for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or other high-risk decisions.

7. Data minimization and secrets

Submit only the personal data that is necessary for the task. You must not submit passwords, one-time login codes, private keys, payment card numbers or other authentication secrets. Sensitive personal data, including health, identity, financial, precise location or information about another person, may be used only when it is directly necessary for an appropriate use case and you have the right to provide it. If you accidentally submit a secret, change or revoke it immediately.

Arkaluonteisia tietoja, kuten terveys-, henkilötunnus-, talous- tai tarkkoja sijaintitietoja tai toisen henkilön tietoja, saa käyttää vain, jos niitä tarvitaan suoraan sopivassa käyttötapauksessa ja sinulla on oikeus antaa ne.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use the service for illegal activity, harassment, fraud, malware, unauthorized access, spam, abusive automation, or processing data you do not have the right to use.

9. Changes and availability

Waterbear is under active development. Features may change, be limited or be discontinued. We aim to keep the service useful and reliable, but it is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Law

These terms are governed by Finnish law, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
